Thanks for having a look at my paintings.

I'll pay for the packaging and postage which will cost me about £15 so if you're local you can take that off the price.

These are framed and on canvas paintings I completed on my Certificate and I'd like to put any sales towards my Diploma so please feel free to make me an offer. Obviously the full price would be great but I'd rather they made you happy and I got some money than I held on to them for an odd £10... though my first buyer offered more so that's possible too.  It's really what they're worth to you and what you can afford.

Winter Solstice, 2019, Acrylic on canvas, 2018

Size: 59 W x 42 H x 0.1 cm

I sketched this beautiful old willow tree by the lakes one frosty morning and was fascinated by the way the twiggy branches played against the snowy sky.

At the moment it's hanging in the Chequers at Orwell as they have an exhibition of local artists.

Mother-in-Law's-Tongue, 2019, Acrylic on canvas, 2018

Size: 30 W x 42 H x 0.1 cm

This was an assignment piece for one of the exercises in a unit called Practice of Painting where we had to paint from sketches.

No photographs allowed and no peeping at the plant.

I particularly like it because being freed up by working from sketches

you're creating rather than copying.

I've now banned all photographs till I've learned to draw properly and am only working from life or sketches.

Still Life for Giorgio de Chirico, 2019, Acrylic on canvas, 2019

Size: 46 W x 61 H x 1.5 cm

I love the edgy, disorientating , angular work of Giorgio de Chirico and this is how I imagined he'd paint a still life . He mainly did surreal paintings of buildings and landscapes.

This is varnished and framed and ready to hang.

Cherry Blossom, 2018, Acrylic on canvas, 2018

Size: 60 W x 60 H x 4.5 cm

Apple Orchard, 2018, Acrylic on paper, 2018

Size: 42 W x 30H x 0.1 cm

Leavenshum, Manchester, Acrylic on paper, 2019

Size: 34.5 W x 28 H x 0.1 cm

Staithes, Acrylic on paper, 2018

Size: 42 W x 30 H cm

Orchid with Lamp, Acrylic on paper, 2018

Size: 59 W x 42 H cm

Inspired by a beautiful stand of cherry trees in Cambridge with their pink petals dancing in the wind.

This is varnished and framed and ready to hang.

The RSPB have planted a fruit orchard at Fen Drayton Lakes and this is a very loose interpretation what it would be like to standing in the sunshine with the apple blossom and buzzing bees.

Framed behind non reflective acrylic and ready to hang.                     £55

I did lots of work at Granada TV in Manchester in the 1980's and love the City. This is the view from my son's first first post uni flat.

It brought back so many memories (though I never had a rooftop flat) that I had to paint it.

I loved painting the pigeons.

This was the view from our holiday cottage, The Old Joiners Shop looking out over the beck, just by the bridge.

Staithes is a wonderful seaside fishing village on the North Yorkshire coast at the bottom of a 45% hill with two art galleries and two pubs, we never left the villager all week.

This was from my second Level 1 University unit where I had to light an object, I like flowers so this seemed an obvious choice.

I love the way the light catches the petals.

It looks great framed in a mount on Redbubble and makes nice coasters too.

Face Off, acrylic on canvas and paper, 2019

60 W x 60 H  x  4.5 D cm

Not part of my university course, I just did this for fun after going to a Frank Bowling exhibition.

It's a drip painting stuck on top of a self portrait, but as my face is obliterated it could be anybody.

It makes me think about our faces and how we would look if anybody could  see us have a meltdown.

It looks great on a metal print and as a framed print as well.

I'm adding paintings to this this as they're ready and am hanging them in my front room which I've painted brilliant white. Feel free to come and have a look.
